Name: .NET Software Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time
We seek a mid level Software Engineer to join our team for the
development of a .NET based windows service solution that will
communicate with a number of devices over TCP/IP or SNMP and store data
in a MS/SQL database. The application will be configured and monitored
via a web application on an intranet. This is a progressive project
with well defined objectives and implementation schedule. The
successful candidate will join a highly talented team environment in a

releasing a quality solution. For consideration, Applicants must
possess and demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
Primary Experience Requirements:
• A minimum of 3-5 years of
professional .NET application design and development experience (front
& back end)
• A minimum of 2 years of professional software
development utilizing the .NET platform (VB.NET or C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET)
• Proficient
in architecting, developing, testing and deploying Windows Service
applications
• Proficient in database design and development (MS SQL
2005 and/or 2008)
• Proficient in TCP/IP communication
• Proficient
in Multi-threading techniques and architecture
Secondary Experience Requirements:
• Visual Studio 2005 or 2008
• .NET
2.0 and 3.5
• Familiarization with MS Windows Server 2003 and/or
2008
• UML Design tools and methodology
Education Requirements:
• A Bachelor of Science degree in a
relative area (i.e. Computer Science) or equivalent experience
